The fitment of incorrect fasteners during assembly could cause the steering to fail, according to the recall notice.
Ineos has recalled 213 examples of its 2022-2023 Ineos Grenadier, citing a potential fault with its steering.
The affected vehicles are stamped 2022 to 2023 models.
The recall notice, lodged with the Department of Infrastructure, says: “Due to a defect during assembly, incorrect fasteners may have been installed on the steering linkage joints and could become loose over time.
“If this occurs, the vehicle may experience a sudden loss of steering control whilst driving.

Ineos advises owners of affected vehicles should stop driving immediately if they experience steering issues, and contact their nearest Ineos dealer/agent as soon as possible to have the vehicle inspected and the correct fasteners fitted, free of charge.
