Remaining new and ex-demonstrator examples of the 2022 and 2023 Tesla Model 3 electric sedan are being offered for up to $10,000 off in all jurisdictions except Western Australia – while stocks last.
Tesla is clearing its remaining stock of the pre-update 2022 and 2023 Model 3, after the facelifted model arrived late last year.
About 40 new and ex-demo examples are listed on the company’s website at the time of publication, in Long Range and Performance dual-motor all-wheel-drive trims – and in all states and territories except Western Australia.
For example, a 2023 Model 3 Long Range with less than 50km on its odometer is shown with discounts ranging from $8470 to $9090 off its regular price.
The discounts are dependent on the buyer’s location as well as the vehicle’s colour, options, and odometer reading, and exclude on-road costs.
The Tesla website shows a 2022 Model 3 Performance is available with discounts of $6560 to $10,520 in Queensland and the Northern Territory – though many are ex-demo examples with up to 11,000km on the clock.
A 2023 Model 3 Performance in stock with less than 50km on its odometer is shown with a price reduction of $10,150 in the Australian Capital Territory.
These prices are before further government rebates available for buying an electric car in states such as Queensland – where up to $6000 is available for eligible residents – and Tasmania, with a $2000 rebate on the first 375 new electric vehicles ordered after 17 November 2023.
In South Australia, three years of free registration is available for Model 3s with a ‘dutiable value’ of less than $68,750.
