Set to likely become a swan song for the sixth-gen Camaro, we put a face on the rumored Z/28 variant in this digital mockup
The 2024 Chevrolet Camaro will be the last model year of the iconic Muscle car. While the sixth generation pony car finally became a proper rival to some of the best European and Japanese performance cars, its reign was relatively short-lived. With that said, it is a common practice for automakers to give us epic, swan-song versions of their iconic models, and there have been rumors about one last Chevy Camaro Z/28. Take them with a grain of salt, however, since GM hasn’t yet confirmed it officially. This doesn’t stop digital artists from recreating the hypothetical sixth-generation Camaro Z/28. TopSpeed’s in-house graphic designer, Yasid Design, has created a very convincing image of what we can expect from a 2025 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28. The visual treatment of the sixth-generation Camaro includes the obligatory aggressive body kit, featuring a cowl induction hood and what seems to be a carbon-fiber front apron and side-skirts, along with a ducktail rear spoiler. The Z/28 designation on the Camaro has always meant track-optimized performance, and this one definitely fits the bill. This 2025 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 render, also features flared wheel arches for a more aggressive stance, and the lightweight alloy wheels hide a big brake kit. While the 2024 Camaro Collector’s Edition might be the Muscle car’s swan song, GM hasn’t yet ruled out rumors of one last, track-focused Camaro.
