Audiences have been given their first taste of what they can expect from the new Top Gear Australia, ahead of its release in May.
A video trailer for the forthcoming Top Gear Australia series has been published, providing a glimpse of the antics and adventures we can expect over the new season.
Beau Ryan, Jonathan LaPaglia, and Blair ‘Moog’ Joscelyne have been announced as the new presenters, with the three spending several months filming in locations across the globe.
Filming locally in front of a studio audience has already commenced, and the show will feature the return of the mysterious racing driver known only as ‘The Stig’.
As has become the standard show format for Top Gear, the season features a mix of new performance cars and old, oddball models – plus the addition of an armoured vehicle with a cameo from Jay Leno.
As per earlier Drive reports, it’s understood Top Gear Australia was filmed by a BBC crew – the UK network behind the Top Gear format.

A former NRL player, Ryan is the host of The Amazing Race Australia, while LaPaglia has hosted Australian Survivor since 2016.
Joscelyne is a musician and composer, but is arguably best known as one-half of the YouTube channel Mighty Car Mods, restoring and modifying cars alongside Martin Mulholland since 2007.
This will mark the second reboot of Top Gear Australia, following a run on SBS in 2008 and 2009, before being picked up by Channel Nine and airing from 2010 to 2012.
Top Gear Australia will begin streaming on Paramount+ from 17 May 2024.
