BMW Hybrid Cars: Fuel Economy, Features, And Pricing In Detail

[ad_1]

As electric power starts to become more and more mainstream each year, hybrid vehicles are becoming the most attractive option for many buyers across the United States. Bridging the gap between combustion engines and full electric power, hybrids combine the best of both worlds from the two different types of powertrain.

Instead of regular hybrids, plug-in hybrid technology is a massive popular route to take, with the bigger battery leading to better range. Quite a few European brands invest heavily in hybrid technology and electric power in general, but very few have the same level of ambition as BMW. The Munich-based brand is currently in the early stages of transitioning to all-electric, offering four different plug-in hybrid vehicles that excel in their respective classes, as well as giving a taste of what’s to come in the future.

Despite all-electric power seemingly being the future for many brands, including BMW, hybrids are outpacing EVs in terms of sales. By February 2024, hybrid vehicles made up 8.9 percent of the U.S. market share, a 45 percent increase from the prior year, according to Edmunds. With BMW’s 2024 hybrid fleet covering both the sedan and SUV segments, here’s what you can expect from each for their price tags.

In order to give you the most up-to-date and accurate information possible, the data used to compile this article was sourced from BMW’s manufacturer websites and other authoritative sources, including Fuelecomony.gov, Consumer Reports, and Edmunds.
