The Ford Bronco Raptor needs no introduction. The off-roader is a nightmare for all its rivals, and the automaker leaves no stone unturned to make sure it stays in the spotlight at all times. Well, ‘spotlight’ might be a bit on the nose this time, because Ford has something planned to overshadow the solar eclipse that’s taking place today.
Joining the ranks is a new Black Appearance Package that will debut in front of 150 Bronco owners at the Bronco off-Roadeo in Austin, Texas, under an appropriately dark sky during the total solar eclipse on the 8th of April. The appropriately named (and timed) package complements the Code Orange package that’s already on offer, and is said to mimic the styling of the Bronco Raptor that won the Baja 1000.

Besides the suspension upgrade and cosmetic and interior options, find out what Ford’s latest version of the flagship Bronco Raptor packs for 2024
The Package Unveils The Dark Side Of The Bronco Raptor
Cutting right to the chase, the Bronco Raptor Black Appearance Package comes with a shadow black painted roof that is the biggest differentiating factor from the standard model. The mirror caps, roll bar, and fender flares are also painted in the same shade. If you observe carefully, the painted roll bar is reminiscent of the contrasting roll bar on the sixth-generation concept Bronco SUVs.
To add a slight twist, Ford has painted the steel bumper, skid plate, and tow hooks in matte black. Apart from this, the package also features unique body-side and hood decals.
