A man has been charged and more than a dozen vehicles seized during a police raid, with many of the vehicles being rare and desirable models.
Victoria Police have seized more than a dozen vehicles worth an estimated $4 million during a drug raid in Melbourne’s north.
Police allege the vehicles were purchased with proceeds of crime, and include luxury supercars and rare Australian muscle cars.
A total of 17 vehicles were reportedly towed away by police, with $950,000 in cash also located at the Somerton property.
A Porsche 911 GT3 RS, a Lamborghini Aventador, a Bentley Continental GT, two Holden Torana SS drag cars, a second Lamborghini, a Chevrolet Corvette, and a Mercedes-AMG model were all seized during the raid.
Four additional Holdens including an HDT VK Commodore SS Group A were also taken.
A 54-year-old Yarrambat man was arrested and charged with drug-related offences.
