21 Softail Standard

Kicking this list off is the ultimate, simplified cruiser, the Softail Standard. Bearing only the essentials, this motorcycle has everything you need to embark on any kind of riding journey. Whether it is for daily commuting to work and school, weekend rides around town, or hitting the highway, this bike can do it all. Next on the list is the mighty Freewheeler. The fact that the second model on this list is packing a Milwaukee-Eight 114 engine should give you an idea of what’s to come as we move along. While we’re on the topic of flexing your style, there probably isn’t a model in Harley-Davidson’s 2024 lineup more eye-catching than the new-and-improved Breakout 117. This modern factory chopper is as flashy as it is fast. Covered in chrome from front to back, the Breakout 117 is a low-profile, raked-out cruiser whose performance shines on long stretches of highway and casual cruises around town. Ever since Harley resurrected the Breakout with the Milwaukee-Eight 117 engine, it has been nearly impossible to find openly available at local dealerships. 9 Low Rider S

A show-stopper since 2019, the Low Rider S has been one of the most in-demand Harley-Davidsons everywhere. 7 Road Glide

In case this is your first time seeing Harley-Davidson’s 2024 lineup, you probably noticed something a little different about the Road Glide. Though it is still fundamentally the same popular touring bike with its signature Shark Nose fairing, the entire motorcycle has been redesigned from front to back. Its overall body is lighter and more aerodynamic. Onboard guages have made way for a fully-digital infotainment system. Its headlamps have been replaced by a gigantic LED. And of course, the horsepower figure has risen. It also features new liquid-cooled cylinder heads that further optimize thermal comfort for the rider, especially during low-speed riding situations and hot weather.

6 Street Glide

Much like its sibling, the equally popular Street Glide also received similar treatment in which its comfort, performance, and riding tech all received a massive upgrade. With its redesigned Bat Wing fairing, sleeker body lines, and enhanced riding experience, the 2024 model marks the beginning of a new age for the touring bike. The new Street Glide’s Skyline OS infotainment system features several display options, turn-by-turn navigation, five selectable ride modes (Road, Sport, Rain, and Two Custom), Bluetooth connectivity, and even Apple CarPlay. The CVO Road Glide received some sizable upgrades last year, so it’s been carried on for 2024. This limited-edition Road Glide is available in two rare factory color options: Copperhead and Legendary Orange. In addition, it also comes with a selection of performance upgrades, such as the Milwaukee-Eight VVT 121 with variable valve timing and inverted 47mm Showa forks and premium shocks.

4 CVO Street Glide

Matching the CVO Road Glide in terms of performance, the CVO Street Glide also boasts a similar set of creature comforts and exciting riding enhancements. Following in the footsteps of the original 2023 CVO Street Glide, the 2024 models brings a satisfying mixture of flash, comfort, and handling. It comes equipped with a fully integrated LED system, Combo Cast laced wheels equipped with a tire pressure monitoring system, and a wind tunnel-designed body for maximum flow.

3 Sportster S

The face of the revamped Sportster line, the Sportster S is a clear step above its predecessors. Those familiar with the previous line of Sportster models (the Iron 883, Iron 1200, and Forty-Eight) remember them for being ideal for beginner riders to grow their confidence, as well as simply look cool on a Harley. 2 CVO Road Glide ST

While the new Road Glide and CVO Road Glide would be suitable options for intermediate/experienced everyday riders, the CVO Road Glide ST is the most powerful version of the touring bike meant for only a select few. Inspired by the Road Glides used in the coveted King of the Baggers races, the ST is the most sophisticated performance bagger ever produced by H-D. Ideally meant for riders with some racing experience, this 800-pound touring bike takes itself seriously with a number of upgrades to fully leverage its on-road performance. That includes lightweight titanium shells, forged carbon fiber end elements (front fender, seat cowl, and tank console), wave-style front brake rotors, and the crown jewel, a High Output version of the 121ci engine.
