KTM Is Offering A Complimentary Warranty Extension For All Its LC8 Motorcycles
For the 2024 model year, all of KTM’s LC8C motorcycles have a complimentary warranty extension option. All you need to do is get your bike serviced from the authorized dealership to avail the promotional offer. This essentially boosts the otherwise 24-month warranty to as high as 48 months for some models.
Speaking of which, the LC8c models–comprising the 790, 890, and 990 offerings–will all have 48-month warranties as part of the extension. Whereas, the LC8 range–including the 1390 and 1290 models–will boast a 36-month warrant post extension. In similar fashion, the extension applies to all KTM PowerParts and SpareParts. They will have a 24-month warranty instead of the usual 12-month period.
Husqvarna Bikes Will Also Follow The Same Warranty Extension Offer
Since Husqvarna comes under the KTM umbrella, you can avail the same extension on the Swedish company’s offerings, too. The new Svartpilen 801, plus the Norden 901 and Norden 901 Expedition, all meet the cut and will double their warranty periods in the process. Considering Husqvarna’s reputation, it’s a move that will surely help potential customers take home its bikes. Especially the ones who love Huskies but are afraid of the reliability and service network woes.
The process for getting the extension is the same; just get your bike serviced from an authorized dealership. And like KTM, the extension is also applicable to accessories from the Swedish company. Overall, it’s a rather considerate move in our opinion, although we’d be happier if the same applied to the smaller bikes like the 250 Duke, too. That would surely help new riders pick KTM over Japanese contemporaries.
