This comes from the oil pump that has variable pressure and, in theory, translates to less strain on the engine and better fuel economy. However, they’re prone to failure; if air gets in the pump, the pump will fail, and when there is no oil circulating in the engine, your engine is gone.

The original BT-50 is a no-frills, cloth interior, no-touchscreen work ute that can tow between 2500 and 3000kg. Depending on the kilometres, they hover around the $5000–$12,000 mark. But we have seen some pop up with 400,000km and beyond, still in running order!
