Chrysler Pacifica Refresh Still Years Away, New Trim Incoming

[ad_1]

It’s been three years since Chrysler revealed an updated Pacifica.

Summary

  • The Pacifica mid-cycle refresh is still in Chrysler’s plans and expected in “a couple of years from now” according to Chrysler CEO Christine Feuell
  • A new trim level and improvements to the interior and plug-in hybrid technology system are expected

Everyone who is waiting for Chrysler to refresh its Pacifica minivan will have to wait a bit longer. Chrysler’s CEO, Christine Feuell, spoke to the media Tuesday about the Halcyon concept (a model we got to experience in person), as well the brand’s future plans for the Pacifica.

Although an exact timeline remains unconfirmed, Feuell stated that Chrysler has “a mid-cycle action planned for a couple of years from now.” If those plans remain on track, we expect it to arrive by the time Chrysler rolls out its 2026-2027 model-year Pacificas. Feuell confirmed “a number of enhancements” and “a new trim level” are planned.

The Chrysler Pacifica is one of the few minivans still on sale, and despite being loaded to the gills, here’s why it’s still an underrated product.

Chrysler Pacifica To Get Hybrid Technology Enhancements

Chrysler debuted a facelifted Pacifica a few years ago at the 2020 Chicago Auto Show. The update also introduced an AWD version, a distinction that separates the minivan from its competition. Other features such as the Stow ‘n Go seating and Stow ‘n Vac system help solidify its place in the segment. The 2023 model managed to secure the IIHS’s coveted Top Safety Pick rating.

“You’ll see some improvements in the interior, in the plug-in hybrid technology system, as well as a new trim level as well,” Feuell stated during the media call. She went on to confirm the refresh is part of this when we asked for comment.

The 2024 Chrysler Pacifica starts at $40,995 for the Touring trim. The highest trim, Hybrid Pinnacle, starts at $63,750. According to the EPA, the 2024 Hybrid model gets 82 MPGe combined, compared to 22 combined on the gas-powered version.
