It’s an exotic superbike with extremely low production and extremely high levels of quality components. Although first announced in the latter half of 2022, some examples of the bike are now available for order in the United States of America. To no one’s surprise, the price is certainly bank-breaking.

When the motorcycle came out, it succeeded the $120,000 AMB 001. So it was a no-brainer the Pro would cost more, and that’s precisely the case. Aston Martin and Brough have priced the AMB 001 Pro at a bonkers $187,625. Believe it or not, this is the base MSRP, without any optional accessories or customizations. Heck, even the shipping charges are extra.

Only 25 units will be made available here, out of the total 88 announced worldwide. Given its exquisite nature, all examples are handmade in France (Brough’s headquarters) and come with a numbered certificate of authenticity. You can have the motorcycle in two standard livery choices–Aston Martin Verdant Jade with Photon Lime or Aston Martin Racing Green paired with Lime Essence. The latter is inspired by the company’s AMR Formula 1 race car. You also have the option to personalize the livery.

At this price, the AMB is in a league of its own. It costs more than any other motorcycle in America, whether it’s the $128,000 Arch 1S or the $92,999 Indian Challenger RR. Or for a better perspective, you can buy four Ducati Panigale V4 Rs and still save money for a Kawasaki Ninja 500.

What do you get for the money? A lot. The crown jewel is a bespoke 997cc, dual-cylinder engine that pumps out 225 horsepower. This, along with the claimed 396-pound dry weight, gives the AMB an astonishing power-to-weight ratio of 0.56-HP/pound. The low weight is courtesy of extensive carbon fiber componentry. Right from the 17-inch wheels to the sleek bodywork, everything is carved from carbon fiber.

Complementing these is a CNC aluminum and carbon chassis. It suspends on unique Fior/Hossack front fork and a monoshock, both fully adjustable. Like all else, the disc brakes and rotors are also top-notch with a heavy focus on track-only riding. What you will find odd, though, is the absence of an instrument cluster. Instead, you have to mount your phone near the handlebar to see the motorcycle telemetry. But hey, if you can afford this, we’re pretty sure you won’t mind getting a $1,500 iPhone 15 Pro to plonk here either.
