How Subaru nearly sold the Commodore in Australia

As part of Holden getting its hands on the Forester, Subaru Australia could have its pick of any models in Holden’s local line-up – including even the Commodore. As well as its locally made sedan, wagon and ute, Holden’s range at the time included Barina, Astra, Vectra, Frontera, Jackaroo and the enormous American-market Suburban.
