Peugeot Australia is set to nearly double its electric-vehicle range with the addition of the 2025 Peugeot E-308 small hatch and Peugeot E-Expert mid-size van by the end of this year.
Expressions of interest have opened now on the Peugeot website ahead of first showroom arrivals in the second half of 2024, joining the e-Partner small van and e-2008 small SUV on sale now, and upcoming E-208 city hatch.
Prices and model grades are yet to be revealed.
In Germany the E-308 is about the same price, or slightly cheaper than a top-of-the-range 308 plug-in hybrid, which is priced from $64,990 plus on-road costs in Australia.
Meanwhile the Expert is likely to command a premium over the $47,990 plus on-roads of the Pro Short diesel auto, and $50,490 plus on-roads of the Pro Long diesel auto.
The E-Expert will debut a facelift for the Expert range unveiled in Europe with a restyled front fascia, and a reworked dashboard with a new steering wheel, larger 10-inch touchscreen and a widescreen digital instrument display.
Australian arrival timing for the facelifted diesel Expert – as well as similar updates for the smaller Partner and larger Boxer vans – is yet to be confirmed.
Peugeot claims driving range of up to 350km in the E-Expert, and 414km for the E-308 – which will be sold in Australia solely as a hatchback, although a wagon is available overseas.
More details are due closer to the Australian arrival of the 2025 Peugeot E-308 and E-Expert in the second half of this year.
