Jeep is set to launch two new all-electric SUVs in 2024, and we’re just getting our first look at the inside of the 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S. As you would expect from the posh nameplate, luxury will be the name of the game. Here’s what we know so far about this new SUV
500-miles of range?
The 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S will be built on the STLA Large platform, which Stellantis says will get up to 500 miles of all-electric range for sedans. So, it is likely that the Wagoneer S will get something less than that – but hopefully not much. Jeep and Dodge will be the first brands to benefit from this architecture, and the Wagoneer S will be the first production vehicle we see with it. This platform is flexible enough to support front-, rear- and all-wheel-drive drivetrains, and because Jeep, this will have standard 4xe capability with all-terrain management.
McIntosh audio included
As you would expect from a Wagoneer, the 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S will include a segment-exclusive 19-speaker premium flagship McIntosh audio system. Other premium features include a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, color-selectable ambient lighting and a passenger-side infotainment screen.
600 horsepower
With this new BEV platform, the 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S will be capable of up to 600 horsepower and a 0-to-60-mph time of 3.5 seconds. We know that the STLA Large platform will be available in 400-volt and 800-volt architectures, but Jeep hasn’t specified which the Wagoneer S will get.
When is the 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S available?
Though we don’t have an exact target date, the 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S will be sold in the U.S. starting in the fall of 2024, then in key markets around the world after that.
The bottom line
This is the first all-electric vehicle from Stellantis, and we’re certainly intrigued since this will pave the way for the electric Ram 1550 and pretty much every EV coming from the Dodge, Chyrsler, Jeep, Ram, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, etc., brands. We’ll share more as we have more.
