The 2024 Honda Prologue is one of the biggest electric SUV launches in the U.S. in 2024. Co-developed with GM, it is the brand’s first electric SUV in our market. Recently, I saw it in the Pacific Blue Metallic color, a conventional blue option against the signature North Shore Peal shade.
The 2024 Honda Prologue has a low and squat stance and features a sleek design, and I like how it has a conventional design for the lights, grille, and other core elements that define the character of a vehicle. The sporty exterior has been paired with a simplistic interior that strongly focuses on space and practicality.
11-inch digital instrument cluster, 11.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, Google Assistant, and Google Maps, 7×3-inch head-up display, and Bose premium audio system are some of the key tech features of the 2024 Prologue. In terms of comfort, Honda equips the electric SUV with a dual-zone automatic climate control system, an 8-way power driver’s seat with 2-way power lumbar support, memory and heating functions, a heated steering wheel, and a heated front passenger seat.
The 2024 Honda Prologue will be available in 2WD and AWD variants. The 2WD variants have one motor located at the front and producing 212 hp and 236 lb.-ft. of torque. The AWD variants have one motor at both ends, developing 288 hp and 333 lb.-ft. of torque.
An 85 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that supports charging at up to 150 kW is standard in the 2024 Prologue. Charging it for about 10 minutes can add 65 miles of range, Honda claims. On a full charge, it delivers an EPA-est. range of 296 miles in the 2WD variant and up to 281 miles in the AWD variant.
The prices of the 2024 Honda Prologue start at USD 48,795 and go up to USD 59,295. The new electric SUV will begin arriving at U.S. dealerships this Spring.
