Obviously, no one can expect a child to sit completely still for a car journey, but if they tend to fiddle with their seatbelt, slouch in their seat, try to lean or climb out of their seat, or try to unbuckle themselves from their seat, then they may not be behaviourally ready for the transition to a booster, even if they are over four years old.
