We’ve been waiting for a long time, and now, it’s finally happened. After several rumors, Chinese bikemaker QJ Motor has introduced its first big sport bike, the SRK 921RR. The motorcycle competes in the premium middleweight segment, with the aim to take on the Ducati SuperSport 950. There are plenty of exciting elements here, starting with the MV Agusta-derived powerhouse.

The QJ Motor SRK 921RR Has A 921cc, Four-Cylinder Engine
As its name suggests, the SRK employs a 921cc, four-cylinder engine, sourced from MV Agusta–you might remember the Brutale 920 from the previous decade. It’s good for 127 horsepower and 68 pound-feet, all sent to the wheel via a six-speed transmission. With that output, the SRK is well clear of the premium middleweight bikes. The Ducati SuperSport 950 maxes out at 110 horsepower, while the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R has just over 120 ponies on offer. The Chinese sport bike will also produce an enticing exhaust note, courtesy of its F3 800-like uber-sexy four-into-four exhaust.

Housing the engine is a trellis chassis, with a cast subframe. It is suspended on Marzocchi upside-down forks and a monoshock from the same company. Both ends are adjustable and work in tandem with 17-inch alloy wheels. The braking package comprises dual disc brakes up top and a single disc outback, all clamped by Brembo calipers (M50s at the front). Our favorite touch, meanwhile, is the Brutale-inspired single-sided swingarm. It gives you a sexy view of the dual-tone alloy wheel, but comes at the cost of weight. That’s because the SRK weighs 473 pounds wet–10 more than the Ducati.
There’s No Shortage Of Features On The QJ Motor SRK 921RR
The SRK 921RR impresses elsewhere too. It stands out in the segment with a unique fascia that comprises quad-projector lights and two plastic aerodynamic wings. This is topped by brawny fairings, complete with a silver-red livery. Rounding things off is a distinct tail, with spoiler-like cutouts and a chunky LED lamp.

QJ Motor has priced the SRK 921RR at 69,999 Yen in China. This equates to roughly $9,900, which is a strong price in the Asian country. American prospects of the 921RR remain unknown as of now, although QJ is increasing its footprint here each year. So you won’t be crazy to picture the RR on American soil. Let’s also keep in mind the motorcycle is already Europe-bound in 2024.
