More than just another dealership, the Wynn McLaren showroom is an experience. We got to see first hand just how much McLaren wants its fans to be a part of the action.
The first ever Las Vegas Grand Prix was the opening of McLaren’s hottest new showroom. Yes, there have been races held in Las Vegas before, but none to bear the name of the city itself. F1 racing has never been more popular, and Vegas wanted a piece of the action. Naturally, this means automotive enthusiasts have become more attracted to venues like Vegas, and it shows. Hot off the heels of the Las Vegas Grand Prix, we had the privilege of accessing O’Gara’s latest showroom featuring McLaren right off the casino floor inside the Wynn resort. It’s never been easier to check out one of the world’s most prestigious automotive marques, while already experiencing one of the Vegas Strip’s best resorts.
McLaren Americas allowed Topspeed.com exclusive early access to the exciting new O’Gara McLaren showroom, walking us through exactly what both customers and fans of the brand can expect to experience during a visit to the location.
The Showroom Is Inside The Wynn Casino
Starting with the showroom itself, McLaren’s model representation is very strong within the Wynn with a McLaren GT, 600LT, and 720S Spyder. However, the real showpiece is the green P1 sitting front and center. This arrangement of cars shows Ogara’s stronghold as a supercar broker, especially with the McLaren brand. Since manufactures like McLaren don’t typically sell direct to consumer, a dealership had to be involved. This is where O’Gara takes the reins. O’Gara’s network of dealerships is growing, and the Wynn McLaren showroom is another example of its extensive relationship with the brand.
Keep in mind the vehicles seen inside the showroom are all cars that are actually for sale, so the stock will constantly be rotating as buyers purchase from right there within the Wynn Casino. Merch lovers fear not. It wouldn’t be Vegas, or McLaren, without some exclusive in-casino-only merchandise. McLaren is offering special items including special F1 hats, bags, official McLaren luggage, sweaters, and other Las Vegas-themed items. There are even specific Grand Prix heritage tees and hoodies, with graphics recalling the original 1982 Caesar’s Palace Grand Prix. The items available in the O’Gara McLaren showroom are exclusive specifically to the Wynn hotel and can only be purchased in-store on site.
Most of the souvenirs here are commemorative of the brand, the historical significance of the original F1 race that took place so close to the physical location of the O’Gara McLaren showroom. Along with the available new merchandise, is the availability of ultra-exclusive memorabilia such as racing suits, gloves, and helmets among other racing items from decades past, some signed by legendary McLaren racing drivers.

The McLaren Wynn Has a Racing Simulator Room With Racing Instructors

There is even a track time leader board so you can friends can keep track of who the fastest driver of the day is.
The Configurator Room Lets You Virtually Build Your McLaren
Here’s where things get real, sort of. Opposite the very exciting, and admittedly quite loud simulator room, is the configurator room. This is a quiet space dedicated to allowing potential customers to configure their very own McLaren supercar with the help and guidance of the dealer representatives. The amount of configurable details is staggering, almost to the point of choice paralysis. We spec’d an absolutely stunning 750S Spider with the help of McLaren’s associates, who are spectacular about what packages to pick and options you might be interested in, based on the specific type of experience you’re looking for in your new British supercar.
A welcome addition to the showrooms are physical samples of materials and finishes. McLaren provides these in the configuration room to help customers develop some insight into what their options are and what certain components like painted finishes, leathers, and metals will look and feel like. Once you’ve gone through the seemingly endless choices and options, the O’Gara team can then save and send your configuration directly to McLaren to be built.

Now, here’s where things get bougie, to an insane degree.
