Lincoln is the luxury division of the Ford Motor Company with most of its luxury products based on existing Ford vehicles. Notable models include the Lincoln Navigator, Aviator, and MKX which were based on the Ford Expedition, Explorer, and Edge respectively. Since 2020, Lincoln has had a complete restructuring of its lineup and has consolidated its portfolio to include just Crossovers and SUVs.
There are only four vehicles produced by Lincoln which include the longtime Navigator, the return of the Aviator in 2020, the Corsair which replaces the MKC, and the Nautilus which replaces the MKX. The Lincoln Nautilus first went on sale in 2019 as a midcycle refresh on the MKX, at the same time the MKX name was discontinued. The Nautilus now serves as Lincoln’s midsize two-row crossover luxury SUV and sits above the compact Lincoln Corsair.

2024 Lincoln SUV Lineup: Models, Pricing, Features, And Performance
With the Lincoln brand comprising an all-SUV model lineup, here’s what the American luxury automaker has in store for the 2024 model year
In order to give you the most up-to-date and accurate information possible, the data used to compile this article was sourced from various manufacturer websites and other authoritative sources, including Ford, Lincoln and CNN.
The 2024 Nautilus Embraces Lincoln’s Next-Generation Design Language
The all-new 2024 Nautilus sits on Ford’s C2 platform which also underpins models like the Ford Edge, Escape, Bronco Sport, Maverick, and the Lincoln Corsair. But this new model has been designed by Lincoln’s Chinese division and will be built in Ford’s Hangzhou plant in China and will be imported to the U.S. The Nautilus will be available across three different trims:
- Premiere
- Reserve
- Black Label
Exterior Features Of The Lincoln Nautilus
The Nautilus adopts Lincoln’s Quiet Flight design language. The most notable design element upfront is the new full-width LED which looks nice and has a welcome sequence at the front and rear which illuminates the Lincoln Logo and slowly spreads the full width. This will most likely serve as the daytime running lights and they look beautiful. Side mirrors display a welcome mat accompanied by light waves inside the vehicle. Lincoln says this is a choreographed dance known as Lincoln Embrace.
Moving to the side, the Lincoln badge starts on the fender as usual but stretches almost the length of the door. Its door handles are also unique. At first, it seems like they sit flush with the doors but upon closer inspection, there are no handles on the doors, because the door handles are integrated into the black trim on the windows. This is similar to what we’ve previously seen on the Lincoln Continental sedan.
Wheel sizes for the Nautilus include 19,20,21 and the large 22-inch which are only available with the Jet Appearance package and Black Label trim. The rear also has a full-width light bar design with the Lincoln letters integrated into it. There are eight exterior colors available for the Nautilus which include:
- Silver Radiance
- Infinite Black
- Chroma Caviar Dark Gray (Black Label only)
- Red Carpet
- Lustrous Gray
- White Platinum
- Blue Panther
- Diamond Red

10 Things That Put The 2024 Lincoln Nautilus Hybrid Ahead Of The Pack
The all-new 2024 Lincoln Nautilus gets a new set of upgrades, making it a worthy choice as your next SUV.
The Nautilus’ Interior Packs Luxury And Tech In Equal Measure
A lot of detail has gone into the layout and design of this interior. Step inside the Nautilus and you’re greeted with a huge screen that runs the full length of the dashboard which is similar to the hyperscreen you find in some flagship models like the all-electric Mercedes EQS.
The cockpit is a mix of leather, piano black, silver, and crystal elements in just the right places without being overdone. The piano black is especially done right since it isn’t all over the center console where it would be very visible and could get scratched easily.
The crystal design on the center console volume knob is quite a nice touch with neatly arranged buttons. The metallic speaker grilles exude class and are reminiscent of what you typically find in European luxury cars. Rear-seat passengers also get to enjoy the same level of luxury as the front passengers.
You can equip your Nautilus in a few interior colors and themes that include:
- Black Onyx and Medium Light Space Gray
- Light Smoke Truffle
- Black Onyx and Allura Blue,
- Chalet Theme (Black Label edition)
- Redwood theme (Black Label edition)
Technology In The Lincoln Nautilus
Lincoln says the Nautilus was targeted at younger buyers and this shows with the seamless 48-inch screen that runs across the width of the dash and houses the digital gauge cluster, along with the ability to display navigation, music, and a host of other available information. This colossal screen by itself is likely to be one of the biggest draws of the all-new Nautilus, and the best part is that Lincoln is including this display as standard, right from the base model.
The main display is accompanied by another 11.1-inch center infotainment screen with Android Auto, Apple Carplay, and Amazon Alexa integrated with voice commands. You also have ambient lighting elements in the doors that should further aid in elevating the on-board experience at night.
There is a very relaxing feature in the Nautilus known as Lincoln Rejuvenate that creates a relaxing environment for you to recharge when stationary. It makes use of crisp, high-resolution displays, sounds, and massage functions all working together to create a serene and relaxing environment.
The Lincoln Nautilus also has a digital scent feature that gives you three unique factory scents. Each scent can be activated from the center screen and can also work together with the Rejuvenate system. According to Lincoln, these scents are;
- Mystic Forest: An earthy blend of cedarwood with rich notes of patchouli. This mimics the natural scent when walking in the woods.
- Ozonic Azure: A crisp blend of aromatic patchouli and traces of bright violet. This mimics a cool Arctic-inspired fragrance.
- Violet Cashmere: Exotic white florals and trusted violet. This mimics the smell of fresh linens.
Other convenient interior technology features include:
- Hands-free driving with the latest Blue Cruise 1.2
- 5G Connectivity
- 24-way adjustable seats
- Heated, ventilated, and massage seats
- Panoramic roof
- 14-speaker audio system
- Advanced Driver Assistance Systems
