The Kramer Super Hooligan Boasts An 889cc, Twin-Cylinder Engine

The Super Hooligan is essentially a stripped-back GP2-890R. So the mechanicals all come from Kramer’s existing sports bike. The crown jewel here is a KTM-sourced 889cc, twin-cylinder powerhouse, seen on the 890 Duke and 890 Adventure. But it’s been armed with a handful of performance mods such as a race ECU, free-flow exhaust, and racing air filter to promise an output of 130 horsepower–almost nine up from the standard Duke. Add to this the Super Hooligan’s uber-low 309-pound curb weight, and you’re looking at some serious performance.

Luckily, the underpinnings have been rightfully upgraded as well. The motorcycle flaunts a custom steel trellis chassis, suspended on WP Apex Pro USD forks and monoshock. Both ends are fully adjustable and join hands with Dymag UP7X forged aluminum wheels. Additionally, a Hyper Pro steering damper ensures utmost stability, while Brembo calipers help shed speed.

The Kramer Super Hooligan Has Different Ergonomics Than The GP2-890R

While the mechanicals all come from the 890R, the Super Hooligan differs in the ergonomics and bodywork department. Gone is the clip-on setup from the GP2, and in comes a flat, single-piece handlebar. This, along with the dedicated triple-clamp, ensures a more upright riding triangle. As for the bodywork, the Hooligan ditches fiberglass fairings for a clean, streetfighter aesthetic.

Other Highlights Of The Kramer Super Hooligan

  • Standard crash protection
  • Two-way quickshifter
  • Racing instrument cluster
  • Adjustable engine map and engine braking
  • AFAM 3D chain
  • Adjustable saddle height
  • Tail-mounted fuel tank
  • Number plates upfront and on sides for rider racing number

Love what you see? Then, we have some bad news. The Super Hooligan is a joint effort by Kramer and Bagoros Performance to test whether there’s enough interest in the market for a race-ready naked motorcycle. So there’s been no announcement on when or whether it’ll be made available to you and us. What we can surely say is that we haven’t seen anything quite like this in the market, and it’s certainly something you won’t regret buying. Speaking of which, you shouldn’t expect an easy-on-the-pocket price if it goes on sale. After all, the GP2-890R itself sells for $34,995–even pricier than a Ducati Panigale V4 S!
