Although Bentley models are engineered to the highest degree of quality, the GTC is unlikely to make a great daily driver, thanks to a small 8.3 cubic feet of cargo space. It would, however, make for a perfect weekend companion, being the only drop-top model in the current range.

Under the hood of Bentley’s hybrid Bentayga, is a slightly less potent, but still frightfully fast, turbocharged 3.0-liter V6. It’s coupled to a single electric motor, which, when combined, produces a healthy 443 horsepower, alongside 516 lb-ft of torque.

Fuel economy is somewhat improved for the hybrid variant, as a 3 MPG increase is seen over the standard Bentayga, when comparing combined figures. The Extended Wheelbase Bentayga represents the real top end of what Bentley can offer to their SUV customers. Thanks to the same twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 that features in the regular-length Bentayga, this SUV can offer mind-blowing performance, in addition to industry-leading levels of luxury.

For the EWB models, the wheelbase has been extended by 180mm, and that extra length is used almost exclusively as additional legroom. A five or four-seat layout is available, but the cargo space remains the same as the standard Bentayga, as do the reasonable MPG figures.

Apart from that additional legroom, the main difference between the regular Bentayga and this EWB version is the asking price. Kicking off at $236,850, the EWB V8 comes as standard with deep-pile overmats, 21-inch alloy wheels, and a polished mesh front grille – in addition to the array of standard but opulent extras that one might expect.

At the top end, an additional $100,000 is required to drive home with the Mulliner model, which has a most exclusive three-color layout, available in eight unique colorways. As far as Bentley car prices go, you’d be hard-pushed to spend more than the $339,150 that the flagship Bentayga EWB commands.
